1. About Us

These terms govern your use of the Smart Web Start website (smartwebstart.co.uk) and any services you order from us. Smart Web Start is a trading service of LS22 Web Solutions, based at 11 Nichols Way, Wetherby, West Yorkshire, LS22 6AD. References to "we", "us", or "our" mean LS22 Web Solutions trading as Smart Web Start.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing this website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or our services.

3. Our Services

We provide affordable starter website design, hosting and maintenance services. Specific deliverables and timescales for each project are confirmed in writing before work begins.

4. Pricing & Payment

  • Starter websites are charged at £299 (one-time), inclusive of 6 months free hosting and maintenance.
  • After the 6-month free period, hosting and maintenance is £25 per month.
  • All prices are in GBP. UK VAT is not currently charged.
  • An initial deposit may be required before work begins. Final balance is payable on launch.

5. Cancellation & Refunds

  • You can cancel ongoing monthly maintenance at any time with 30 days' written notice.
  • Project deposits are non-refundable once design work has commenced.
  • If you cancel a project before any work has been done, you will receive a full refund.

6. Client Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information, content and assets in a timely manner. We are not responsible for delays caused by late content delivery from your side.

7. Intellectual Property

  • Once full payment is received, ownership of the final website design and content (excluding third-party assets) transfers to you.
  • We retain the right to display completed work in our portfolio and case studies unless you ask us not to in writing.
  • All content on this website (text, design, code) belongs to LS22 Web Solutions and may not be copied without permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, our total liability for any claim arising out of these terms or our services is limited to the fees you have paid us in the previous 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Third-Party Services

Some services rely on third-party tools (e.g. domain registrars, payment providers, hosting). We are not responsible for outages or issues caused by those third parties, but we will do our best to help resolve them.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
